【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodwhichyieldsanumberthatisanestimateofthelimitingviscositynumberofpulpinadilutecupri-ethylenediamine(CED)solution.ThismethodisprimarilyapplicabletoCED-solublesamplesofbleachedchemicalpulpsbutcanalsobeappliedtoanykindofpulpthatdissolvescompletelyinCEDsolution.NOTE1Theresultscanbeusedtoestimatetheextentofcellulosedegradationcausedbycookingorbleaching.Resultsobtainedwithsamplescontainingappreciableamountsofsubstancesotherthancellulosemustbeinterpretedwithcaution,however.NOTE2Inthestrictestsense,viscositymeasurementproceduresareapplicableonlytothepolysaccharidefractionofthesample.Thisnotwithstanding,viscositymeasurementcanusuallybeusedtoobtainaresultonunbleachedpulpshavinglignincontentsofupto4%,becausemostofthesepulpscanbesuccessfullydissolvedinCED.However,thesimplefactthatanunbleachedpulpcanbedissolvedinCEDdoesnotmeantheresultsarevalid.Insummary,viscosityresultsforpulpscontainingmorethan0,5%ofligninarenotacceptablefortechnicalspecificationpurposes.

【摘要】:Thispracticerecognizesthateffectiveness,safety,anddurabilityofreflectiveinsulationdependsnotonlyonthequalityoftheinsulatingmaterials,butalsoontheirproperinstallation.Improperinstallationofinsulationcanreduceitsthermaleffectiveness,causefirerisksandotherunsafeconditions,andpromotedeteriorationofthestructureinwhichitisinstalled.Specifichazardsthatcanresultfromimproperinstallationincludefirescausedby(1)heatbuild-upinrecessedlightingfixtures,(2)deteriorationorfailureofelectricalwiringcomponents,andheatbuild-upresultingfromovercurrentprotectiondevicesincorrectlymatchedtowiring;or(3)deteriorationinwoodstructuresandpaintfailureduetomoistureaccumulation.Thispracticeprovidesrecommendationsfortheinstallationofreflectiveinsulationinasafeandeffectivemanner.Actualconditionsinexistingbuildingsmayvarygreatlyandinsomecasesadditionalcareshouldbetakentoensuresafeandeffectiveinstallation.Thispracticepresentsrequirementsthataregeneralinnatureandconsideredpractical.Theyarenotintendedasspecificrecommendations.Theusershouldconsultmanufacturerforrecommendedapplications.1.1Thispracticehasbeenpreparedforusebythedesigner,specifier,andinstallerofreflectiveinsulationforuseinbuildingconstruction.Thescopeislimitedtorecommendationsrelativetotheuseandinstallationofthermalinsulationconsistingofoneormoresurfaces,havinganemittanceof0.1orlesssuchasmetallicfoilormetallicdepositsunmountedormountedonsubstratesandfacingenclosedairspaces.ThereflectiveinsulationcoveredbythispracticemustmeettherequirementsofSpecificationC1224.1.2Thispracticecoverstheinstallationprocessfrompre-installationinspectionthroughpost-installationprocedure.Itdoesnotcovertheproductionoftheinsulationmaterials.1.3Thispracticeisnotintendedtoreplacethemanufacturer''sinstallationinstructions,butshallbeusedinconjunctionwithsuchinstructions.Thispracticeisnotintendedtosupercedelocal,state,orfederalcodes.1.4Thispracticeassumesthattheinstallerpossessesagoodworkingknowledgeoftheapplicablecodesandregulations,safetypractices,tools,equipment,andmethodsnecessaryfortheinstallationofthermalinsulationmaterials.Italsoassumesthattheinstallerunderstandsthefundamentalsofconstructionthataffecttheinstallationofinsulation.1.5Thevaluesgivenininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.TheSIunitsinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
