【摘要】:Theserequirementscovertheindividualcomponentsthatcompriseahomehealthcaresystemintendedforuseinordinaryindoorlocations.Theserequirementscoveracompletehomehealthcaresysteminwhichasignalinitiatingdevice(bothroutingmonitoringandmedicalemergencysignals)maybeconnecteddirectlyorindirectlytocontinuously-monitoredreceivingequipmentataresidenceoracentralsupervisingstation.Thesystemisarrangedsothatapredeterminedchangeinthestatusofthesignalinitiatingcircuitsordevicesautomaticallycausestransmissionofasignaloveracommunicationchanneltothecentralsupervisingstation.Thecomponentsofthehomehealthcaresystemmayincludesignalinitiatingdevices,controlunits,transmitters,anddigitalcommunicators,alllocatedattheresidence;andthereceiving,processing,anddisplayingequipmentlocatedatthecentralsupervisingstation.TheunitslocatedattheresidenceareintendedtobeenergizedfrompowerlimitedcircuitsasdefinedbyArticle725oftheNationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70,forClass2remote-controlandsignalcircuits.Thecomponentscoveredbytheserequirementsareintendedtobeinstalledinaccordancewiththerequirementsof(1)theNationalElecricalCode,(2)otherapplicableinstallationcodes,and(3)thelocalauthorityhavingjurisdiction.
