【摘要】:ThispartofISO13318coversmethodsfordeterminingtheparticlesizedistributionofparticipatematerialsbymeansofcentrifugalsedimentationinaliquid.Solidsconcentrationsaredeterminedbythetransmissionofalightbeam.Theresultingsignalenablesconversiontoaparticlesizedistribution.ThemethodofdeterminingtheparticlesizedistributiondescribedinthispartofISO13318isapplicabletopowdersthatcanbedispersedinliquids,powdersthatarepresentinslurryformandsomeemulsions.Typicalparticlesizerangeforanalysisisfromabout0,1μmto5μm.Themethodisapplicabletopowdersinwhichallparticleshavethesamedensityandcomparableshapesanddonotundergochemicalorphysicalchangeinthesuspensionliquid.Itisusuallynecessarythattheparticleshaveadensityhigherthanthatoftheliquid.
