【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesatestmethodforsimulatingthelateralimpactbetweenthefrontofamotorvehicle(asdefinedinISO3833)ofupto3,5tonnesGVM(grossvehiclemass)andanadultpedestrian.Thetestmethodaddressesthereductionofpedestrianthigh,legandkneeinjuries.Itisnotapplicabletotestingfor,ortheevaluationof,injuriestootherpedestrianbodyregions;nordoesitdirectlycoverthepotentialriskofinjurytochildrenorhumansofttissue.Itisnotapplicabletovehicleswithdeployabledevicesdesignedforactivationintheeventofimpactwithapedestrian.
