【摘要】:1.1ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesrequirementsforautomaticelectrostaticflockapplicationequipmentwhichisdesignedforapplyingignitableflockwhichmayformexplosiveatmospheresintheflockapplicationarea.InthiscontextadistinctionismadebetweenflockapplicationdeviceswhichduetotheirtypeofconstructioncomplywiththerequirementsaslaiddowninEN50050asapplicable,andthoseforwhichhigherdischargeenergiesarestipulated.ThisEuropeanStandardalsospecifiestheconstructionalrequirementsforasafeoperationofthestationaryequipmentofflockapplicationbooths,includingtheelectricalinstallationsandtheaccessories.ThisEuropeanStandarddealswithallsignificanthazards,hazardoussituationsandeventsrelevanttoflockapplicationbooths,whentheyareusedasintendedandunderconditionswhichareforeseeableasmalfunctionbythemanufacturer(seeClause4).1.2ThisEuropeanStandardconsidersfourtypesofelectrostaticflocksystems.Formoredetails,seeTable1.1.3ThisEuropeanStandarddealswiththosehazardsoccurringduringstationaryautomaticelectrostaticflocking.Amongthesehazardsare,aboveall,ignitionhazardsofthegeneratedexplosiveatmosphereandhazardtopersons.1.4ThestationaryequipmentdealtwithinthisEuropeanStandardisconsideredtobeequipmentofgroupII,category3Dfortheuseinareaswithpotentialexplosionhazardsofzone22.1.5Incasesofhybridmixtures,thestationaryequipmentdealtwithinthisEuropeanStandardisalsoconsideredasequipmentofgroupII,category3Gfortheuseinareaswithpotentialexplosionhazardofzone2.1.6ThisEuropeanStandardisnotapplicablefor-flocksystemsoperatedwithACvoltage,-theapplicationsystemforliquidorpastysubstances(e.g.adhesives,primer),-thecleaningofflockapplicationbooths,-thestorageandhandlingofignitablesubstancesoutsidethecoatingplant.
